Renewable energy tracking platform
At Halo Solar, we are excited to see the increased adoption of renewable energy sources, especially when it comes to projects with intentional efforts to protect pollinators. Recently, M-RETS, the Renewable Energy Tracking System, launched a new system to track pollinator-friendly solar projects. As stated in the article, “Pollinator-friendly solar projects are an important part of the renewable energy industry, as pollinators are essential to the environment and to the overall success of a healthy ecosystem.”
Here at Halo Solar, we are proud to be part of this effort to increase the number of pollinator-friendly solar projects. We believe that by combining renewable energy projects with intentional efforts to protect our environment, we can make positive change in the world. The article also states that the new M-RETS system “allows renewable energy developers to easily track their projects and provide a transparent look into the true impact of the projects on the environment and community.” We are thrilled to see that our industry is taking steps to track the impact of renewable energy projects, and to use that data to inform future projects.
